clipless in machine-screwed polypropylene is sturdier, heavier, and a bit bigger. The pebbled inner surface generates subtle iridescence.

paperclip in hemp/mulberry washi is delicately feather-light, with soft edges and a more diffuse glow. assembled with paperclips handmade from the same wire as the frame.

colour is added by directly painting the light emitting diodes inside the bulb.

transparent lamp cord. to coil, the cable is wrapped tightly around a solid steel rod and baked at a low temperature.

plug, socket, and bulb dimensions and voltages. we’ll arrange a delivery of the lamp when I’m in town: brussels, paris, or toronto; and maybe elsewhere too.
